Grosvenor House, Dubai has unveiled another of its new offerings to be featured in the newly launched Tower Two: ‘Afternoon Tea’, created exclusively for the hotel by the Michelin-starred celebrity chef, Gary Rhodes OBE.
In celebration of the quintessential English tradition, a variety of finger sandwiches, freshly baked cakes, pastries and scones, as well as some exciting savouries, are to be served from 15.00 to 18.00 daily, alongside a wide selection of teas to complement Chef Rhodes’ individual creations for Grosvenor House.
Guests may expect to be able to choose from three types of afternoon tea: the traditional afternoon tea, or afternoon tea served with champagne, or rosé champagne.
Chef Rhodes contributed: “I am extremely proud of the newly launched Rhodes in Residence dining concept in Grosvenor House. I’m particularly excited for guests to experience my signature take on the great tradition that is afternoon tea.
Afternoon tea is a ritual that is steeped in English tradition; however a ‘Rhodes’ signature twist offers guests a uniquely indulgent experience that I hope guests and residents in Dubai will enjoy.”
Complex general manager, Grosvenor House, Dubai and Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort and Spa, Pam Wilby, also commented: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Chef Rhodes once again for Grosvenor House.
“The Rhodes in Residence concept maintains our commitment to satisfying our in-house and visiting guests in every way possible – from offering the highest quality dining options, such as the highly anticipated Rhodes Afternoon Tea, through to impeccable service and luxurious surroundings.
“As this is the first time a Michelin-starred chef has bought an all-day dining concept and afternoon tea to Dubai, we hope it will become a ‘must do’ experience for those visiting the city.”
‘Afternoon Tea’ is just one of the servings on offer as part of the exclusive all day dining concept, Rhodes in Residence. An á la carte breakfast menu, as well as light bites from noon onwards, is on offer, in what is prided as being a comfortable yet sophisticated space, offering an ideal ambiance within which to indulge in a quintessential collection of traditionally delicious English fare, from morning to evening.
