Iron Chef Michael Symon Looking to Open 2nd Restaurant in Detroit

Detroit has been good to Michael Symon since he opened Roast in the Westin Book Cadillac in 2008.

So good, the Iron Chef is bringing his burger restaurant called B Spot to the Motor City, according to a press release.

B Spot won the best burger in America distinction in 2010, 2011 and 2012 from the prestigious Sobe Wine and Food Festival.

The burger lineup is impressive.

The Lola burger is served with a fried egg, bacon, pickled red onions, cheddar and mayo for $9.50.

The Yo! burger has fried salami, coppa, hot peppers, provolone and shasha hot sauce for $9.

And for those daring enough, there’s the Atomic burger with ghost chili, pickled jalapenos, cilantro, red onion, pepperjack, habanero sauce for $9.50.

Symon is looking for a 4,000-square-foot location for the restaurant but there is no word on where it will land.

He has six B Spot locations in Cleveland, one of which is located in Dan Gilbert’s Quicken Loans Arena called The Q.
