Gates Hospitality Sign Agreement To Bring London’s Reform Social And Grill To Dubai

Gates Hospitality confirmed a deal to bring London’s vibrant Reform Social and Grill to Dubai with the opening set for October. Gates, a hospitality company based in Dubai, have taken the lease for the venue in The Lakes, a large community in Emirates Living District, from Emaar and are now on track to open in October.

CEO Naim Maadad ,said, “The Lakes is a fantastic location for Reform to open up here in Dubai as it is right in the heart of a thriving community of thousands of families – not only in The Lakes but in nearby neighbourhoods such as The Springs, The Meadows and The Lakes.”

”We have taken the lease on the venue from Emaar and will be using not only the brand of Reform in London but also the expertise in terms of senior management and staff coming over to Dubai. Bringing Reform here from London, continues the trend of international brands finding a second home in Dubai. Reform enjoys great success in London, and we expect to mirror this achievement within the Dubai market,” he added.

Reform Social & Grill Dubai is set in a fully refurbished 15,000sqft indoor and outdoor site and will bring first class traditional British food and drink to customers from 7am to midnight every day of the week.

Tadgh Ryan from Reform Social & Grill in London is the new GM in Dubai and will lead a team made up of management and staff from both Britain and the UAE.

”We are taking the very best of what we have to offer in London – from the food right through to the décor and service standards – and giving it a Dubai twist,” said Tadgh.

The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and feature classic dishes such as home cured salmon, fresh asparagus with white stilton, fish and chips, charcoal grilled steak and veal chops, catch of the day, chocolate and orange pot and rhubarb and custard tart. At the bar, cocktails from the 1920s to the present day will be made-to-order along with a range of other British beverage favourites on sale.

Al fresco dining will be available out on the terrace which sweeps down onto a vast pub garden – perfect for enjoying a relaxing time with family and friends.

From breakfast and through lunch, the venue is to be an ideal family destination with a British tuck shop and play areas on the outdoor lawns opening after the summer.

In the evening Reform Social & Grill will be one of the city’s finest places to enjoy casual dining as a couple or with a group of friends. The classic British menu, with starters from Dhs45 and main courses from Dhs80, will be complimented by daily food and drink specials in a lively atmosphere.

Music is also a big part of the Reform experience so customers at The Lakes can expect laidback jazz, pop and soul throughout the day with Britpop and rock late into the evening.
