Travel Specialist OTG Appoints Trio Of Top Talent To Senior Leadership Team

Travel restaurateur OTG has made three senior appointments across its restaurant, technology and communications functions.

The company will launch an interactive division with new recruit Omar Téllez as President. Téllez was previously President of public transport application company Moovit, and before that Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of cloud services firm Synchronoss Technologies.

OTG Founder and CEO Rick Blatstein said: “We’ve seen the massive impact our technology has had in delighting the customer while driving up sales and reducing costs.

“The addition of Omar aligns with our long-term growth strategy and brings an incredible skill set to the team as we continue to reimagine the dining and entertainment experience through innovative technology.”

Téllez added: “North America’s restaurant industry is ready to embrace disruptive technology that has proven to captivate the customer while driving double-digit increases in sales, as OTG has done for its restaurants.

“The food technology space as demonstrated by [restaurant review and ordering services] GrubHub, YELP and UrbanSpoon is experiencing transformational growth and we want to take it to the next level.”

Former Starr Restaurant executive Bradlee Bartram joins OTG as Vice President of Restaurant Operations. Bartram is said to have created a “culture of excellence” at Starr, as well as establishing some of the most popular dining venues on the East Coast of the USA.

“OTG restaurants are incredible dining experiences that just happen to be in airports,” said Blatstein. “Bradlee Bartram’s 25-year journey in the relentless pursuit of excellence in the culinary and hospitality experience is a perfect match with the OTG culture.”

Laura Miller will join the company as Vice President of Communications. Miller created Condé Nast’s corporate communications division and oversaw public relations for the company – and for several of its titles – for 12 years.

“Laura’s proven track record in extending corporate brands through a comprehensive media strategy will be a real asset not only to OTG, but to our business partners as well,” said Blatstein.
