Traditional Punjabi restaurant bringing Indian flavours to Camberley

Sanjha, Punjabi restaurant and takeaway, is set to open its doors in Camberley town centre. It will be the restaurant’s second opening following it’s debut in Shirley, Southampton in 2012.

Determined to bring traditional Indian flavo2urs to the table, food served at Sanjha is quite different to your typical curry house. With an emphasis on robust food prepared with the simplest of ingredients and the simplest of basic techniques, you can expect authentic Indian food in a stylish environment. The menu features tandoori specialities, Dum biryanis, Tak-a-Tak dishes, vegetarian plates, some Chinese inspired courses and an extensive range of rice and homemade breads.

A special VIP event will be held at the new restaurant on Saturday night ahead of its official opening to the public on Monday. To celebrate the launch, restaurant owner and chef Amar Randhawa has commissioned Urban artist Soap and Setka to paint one of the largest urban art murals.

It depicts scenes from India with pastel colours and people with beautiful clothes, which will instantly become a sight to see in Camberley. The two artists are renowned for their photo realistic images and have exhibited in many gallery’s all over Europe. They have just returned from Italy where they created a mural with the world famous Etam Cru.
