Starwood Hotels & Resorts opens 10th Le Méridien hotel in India at Nagpur

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has announced the opening of Le Meridien Nagpur in central India. Owned by Classic Citi Investments Pvt Ltd, the 133-room property marks the brand’s tenth hotel in the country.

The hotel is poised to unlock the destination known internationally as the ‘Tiger Capital,’ home to more tiger parks and reserves than any other part of the world.9

“The opening of Le Meridien Nagpur marks a milestone moment for the brand, with ten hotels in India and a robust pipeline in the country,” Brian Povinelli, global brand leader, Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts said in a press statement. “Le Meridien is a brand that speaks to today’s creative and curious-minded travellers, and we look forward to welcoming our global guests and local residents to Le Meridien Nagpur.”

Following an extensive renovation, each of the hotel’s 133 rooms and suites have been designed with classic Indian motifs. The hotel’s sprawling grounds include an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and idyllic spa as well as seven event spaces and meeting rooms that cater to many occasions, from intimate board meetings to larger social functions.

The hotel offers three food and beverage outlets.
