Hotel PURE Brand Has Initiated Testing on Its Proprietary Hotel Web and Booking Applications for the phones.

The hotelier’s new mobile platform will consist of two components

Oriens Travel & Hotel Management Corp., the Next Generation International Hotel Brand Operator, operating its Hotel PURE brand, is pleased to announce the company has initiated testing on its proprietary hotel web and booking applications for the Apple iPhone, Google’s Android phones, RIM’s BlackBerry and other mobile devices.

The hotelier’s new mobile platform will consist of two components. The first is an intelligent web application capable of distinguishing whether users are utilizing conventional desktop Internet web browsers to view the content of Oriens’ hotel web pages or surfing via a mobile device’s Internet web browser while accurately streaming the correct display resolution to mobile devices. The second component will include a state-of-the-art mobile app which ties directly into Oriens’ reservation database engine allowing users to execute real-time reservations into our Hotel PURE properties – or other Oriens-managed hotels – under high security encryptions.

Ken Chua, Chairman & CEO of Oriens Travel & Hotel Management Corp., stated, “With most cellular phone users converting to smart phone devices like the iPhone, BlackBerry and Android, along with the continuous lowering costs of accessing the Internet via mobile devices, it is only logical for us to take advantage of the opportunities the mobile sector offers us by developing a hotel booking solution for Oriens’ Hotel PURE customers. We hope to have this mobile app solution fully deployed later this year.”

Successful development and deployment of this mobile application can possibly thrust Oriens into the spotlight as the next big global hotel booking platform.
