Wyndham Hotel Group Expands to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast

Wyndham Hotel Group announced the latest addition to its continued expansion of Ramada hotels in the South Pacific region on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. SurfAir on Marcoola Beach by Wyndham will be rebranded Ramada Hotel and Conference Centre Marcoola Beach.
The move to rebrand the property to Ramada, one of Wyndham Hotel Group’s 15 brands worldwide, demonstrates Wyndham’s long term commitment to Australia and the Sunshine Coast as a leading destination for both the business and leisure traveller. The Sunshine Coast has seen a boom in business travel over the last 12 months and with Marcoola Beach situated close to the Sunshine Coast Airport, the internationally renowned Ramada brand can offer premier conference facilities and accommodation all in one convenient location.
Damien Keenan, Ramada Marcoola Beach General Manager said, “The strength and reputation of the international Ramada brand will be a welcome addition to the area and is sure to attract more domestic and international travelers to the region.”
