Charles S. Peck Departs from Lowe Enterprises

Lowe Enterprises announced that 20-year veteran Charles S. Peck has left the firm to pursue personal business interests. Peck stepped down as president and COO of Destination Hotels and Resorts, Lowe’s hospitality management company, in April 2012 after 15 years in the position. Over the past year he has assisted with the transition to new leadership and worked on other strategic projects for the firm.

Peck joined Lowe in 1993 as the managing director of the Sunriver Resort Limited Partnership, where he managed the Sunriver Resort project and developed the Crosswater Golf Course Community. He led the repositioning of Sunriver into the world-class resort destination that it is today. In 1998, Peck moved from Sunriver to Destination Hotels and Resorts corporate headquarters in Denver to lead Destination. He contributed to Destination’s outstanding growth and profitability, established a strong, well-staffed and industry-leading functional services organization to support the properties and enhanced the brand to position the firm for continued success. During Peck’s tenure the firm added assets and management contracts to its portfolio and he skillfully led and managed through the most challenging years in the hospitality industry in more than four decades.

Peck’s future business plans include personal investment in hospitality and other real estate for his own account, and with other private partners, as well as advisory services to private investors. Lowe Enterprises is pleased to maintain a continued business association with Peck as he pursues the next phase of his career.
