Small firms urged to go for Growth

Over 72 business experts in Sheffield have been accredited to offer advice to small businesses as part of the Government’s Growth Vouchers programme.

The programme helps small businesses across England cover some of the cost of advice on finance, cash flow, management skills and sales and marketing.

The announcement comes a day before a drop-in breakfast taster session at the Hilton Hotel in central Sheffield to demonstrate the benefits of obtaining advice.

Launched earlier this year, the voucher programme enables businesses to access up to £2,000 to cover half the cost.

Accredited Growth Voucher advisers who will be speaking are Angela Stead, from Switchstance, on making the most of digital technology, Jamie Veitch, who advises on marketing, attracting and keeping customers and Steve Hardman from The HR Department who advises on recruiting and developing staff.
