The world’s biggest Lego hotel has opened in Florida and everything is awesome

The Legoland hotel in Florida has FINALLY opened. Big and little kids of the world rejoice.

Because everything there is awesome. Obviously.

For a start, it looks like it’s been built using actual Lego bricks (okay, they’re probably not real Lego bricks – because building regulations – but we can dream).

And there’s a dragon in front of the hotel that blows steam out of its nose. So, there’s that.

The 152 rooms are then divided into four themes: Pirate, Kingdom, Adventure and Lego Friends.

Each room sleeps five – the space is separated into very distinct adult and kids’ sleeping areas – and they’re filled with Lego bricks to build with during your stay.

All guests also have access to Master Builder Lego workshops and there are treasure chests in the rooms which can be unlocked by completing the hotel’s scavenger hunt.

Now, we know what you’re going to say. There’s a Lego hotel at Legoland Windsor. We know. But, being 20 minutes from Heathrow isn’t *quite* the same as lying by the pool in the Florida sunshine.

We think this is the kids’ bedroom but who knows? (Picture: Chip Litherland for LEGOLAND Florida/Merlin Entertainments Group Inc.)

While we’re on the subject of the pool, note the Lego-style sunloungers (without the uncomfortable bobbly bits) and all those little Lego floats.

Let’s hope those Lego sunchairs are smoother than they look (Picture: Chip Litherland for LEGOLAND Florida/Merlin Entertainments Group Inc.)

Let’s just hope they provide well-cushioned slippers in all the rooms – imagine all those little bricks just lying around.

It is good to see a hotel which is designed by a look of
Lego bricks. Although the hotel is not made of the Lego bricks because of the
building rules. Well the theme of the hotel is great and unique. That’s exactly
what I think that the hotel is designed in such a way that it automatically
grabs the attention of the people. People can bring their kids on their vacation
so the children can enjoy their stay to the fullest and can take part in all
the activities and facilities which the hotel provides.
