Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton Awards Top Hotels of 2015 for Brand Excellence

153064274Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites byHilton, part of Hilton Worldwide’s (NYSE: HLT) industry-first All Suites portfolio, recognized top hotels and team members as best in class performers during the recent brand leadership conference held in Dallas, Texas. Top honors went to Homewood Suites by HiltonMobile-East Bay/Daphne in Alabama andHome2 Suites by Hilton Biloxi North/D’Iberville, located in Mississippi, who were awarded the company’s prestigious Connie Award. Both hotels have achieved the highest status for their respective brands for the second year in a row.

The Connie Award, named after Hilton Worldwide’s founder Conrad Hilton, is awarded to the top performing hotel of the year based on three key components: quality assurance audits measuring cleanliness, condition and brand standards, customer satisfaction scores rating staff service and the quality of the hotel’s physical accommodations. Each winning hotel will receive a monetary award to host a celebratory event for its team members and a recognition trophy for achieving the highest score in the brand system in all of these categories.

General Manager of the Year and Director of Sales of the Year awards were also presented. Nominated by their colleagues, these individuals were recognized for their exceptional leadership and passionate dedication to achieving the highest level of operational excellence. The winners are:

Homewood Suites by Hilton

  • General Manager of the Year- Gayle Wilkinson, Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville-Downtown
  • Director of Sales of the Year- Sandra Haynes, Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport/Bossier City

Home2 Suites by Hilton

  • General Manager of the Year- Juan Torres, Home2 Charlotte I-77 South
  • Director of Sales of the Year- Stefanie Beaugez, Home2 Suites by Hilton Biloxi North/D’Iberville
