Sage Hospitality Announces Senior Vice President for Premier/Lifestyle and Chief Marketing Officer

Sage Hospitality, one of the nation’s top hotel investment and management companies, is excited to announce that Arthur Berg has been hired as Senior Vice President for their Premier & Lifestyle Division and Chief Marketing Officer. This is Sage’s first CMO position as the company continues to grow with the vision of being recognized as the best in the business by its customers.

In his dual position, Berg will lead Sage’s Premier & Lifestyle division, a portfolio of high-end hotels across the U.S. consisting of multiple branded and independent properties.  He will also lead Sage’s internal marketing team on the hotel side, which provides service to Sage’s full portfolio of hotels as well as Sage’s Global Office.

“Our Premier & Lifestyle division is growing this year and we’re excited for Arthur’s dynamic leadership skills to really take us to the next level,” said Ken Widmaier, Chief Operating Officer of Sage Hospitality.  “It’s an exciting time at Sage both for our company and our hotels, that we need to bring in a Chief Marketing Officer to communicate all of the new opportunities at Sage.”

Berg brings more than 25 years of experience to Sage with proven ability to provide strategic sales, marketing and operational leadership. He is transitioning from KSL Resorts where he was directly responsible for all marketing functions including brand management, partner marketing, advertising, public relations, revenue management and more. Other notable positions include Vice President of Sales at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Four Seasons Resort Nevis.
